Peg & Josh

I am so excited to say that my sweet friend Peg recently got engaged :) We all knew that it was coming soon and it's here! I cannot wait to see all that God has in store for this wonderful couple! Watching her and Josh has been such a blessing. Josh is currently a Journeyman overseas and Peg is finishing PA school at MUSC. It has been such a blessing to watch her grow in the Lord as she trusts Him during this time of transition. Her patience has been inspirational and continually points me to Christ.

This season has been full of opportunities for Peg to turn to Christ. She's been working extremely hard at grad school, moved around to various clinicals, has lived across the ocean from her (now!) fiance all while adjusting to post-college life! It has been such a privelege to watch this relationship from the beginning. We didn't see it coming but I can't imagine it any other way. Their relationship is Christ-centered and it is obvious that they are both more Christ-like together. They both have such a heart for the gospel and for the nations. What a beautiful team they make!

Josh, thank you so much for being such an example of biblical manhood! I am thankful for how God has worked in Peg's life through you. Thank you for loving my friend so well and for pointing her to Christ in every circumstance!

Peg, you are such a sweet sister and I cannot wait to walk through this season with you! Your wedding day will be one that causes us to worship God for who He is and for what He's doing! I love you dear friend and am so thankful for your presence in my life.

Our group of 8 friends is growing up! I went through Clemson with these girls and now people are in grad school, working real jobs, moving across the country and now one of us is engaged! I love you all dearly and cannot wait to see what God continues to do through all of you! Love you!

None but Jesus

This song just really touched my heart this morning. It was something I needed to be reminded of.
April

In the quiet
In the stillness
I know that You are God
In the secret of Your presence
I know there I am restored
When You call i won't refuse
Each new day again I'll choose

There is no one else for me
None but Jesus
Crucified to set me free
Now I live to bring Him praise

In the chaos in confusion
I know You're sovereign still
In the moment of my weakness
You give me grace to do Your will
When You call I won't delay
This my song through all my days

All my delight is in You Lord
All of my hope
All of my strength
All my delight is in You Lord
Forever more
