Monday moments :)

Kara & I just got back from the gym and we've literally been laughing for almost 3 hours straight. We went to meet our friend Heather this morning around 10 and then met up with some friends at the Court for lunch.

Ok... background info:

Most of you know that in the last 4-5 months we've been feeding two cats. We weren't sure about the gender of one (we call this cat Percy) until we noticed that the cat was pregnant. Mystery solved. Soon, we also started noticing another cat that was hanging around quite a lot. This cat is a bobtail and unfortunately has one eye (not sure how that happened exactly but the cat is incredibly sweet). Well Megan starting calling this cat OENT (pronounced oh-unt. OENT stands for One Eye No Tail) while I was calling him Cyclops. Well... we combined the two and now he is known as O.C. Ok... anyways... we think O.C. is the one that got Percy pregnant. We feed them everyday. They don't come in the house but sleep and hang out on our porch pretty much 24-7.

This morning I went outside with Kara and noticed Percy just hanging out. But for some reason she was noisier than usual. She normally "talks" to us (pretty sure she's just asking for food) but today it was a lot. She follows us down our walk way and all the way to my car. Kara and I just say "Ok Percy - good bye!" We open the car to my little yellow bug and as we sit down we hear a VERY funny noise. Kara and I look at each other and then look behind us. All of a sudden we see it - at the same moment - THIS LITTLE TINY ONE EYED HEAD, PEAKING UP FROM BEHIND MY BACK SEAT. It's almost as if O.C. was saying "Hey guys... ummm... just wanted to let you know I'm here."

I IMMEDIATELY start cracking up and Kara BOLTS out of the car. O.C. then bolts after her and runs away (most likely to use the bathroom, he failed to ask permission to sleep in my car but at least he was considerate enough to refrain from using the bathroom).

The best thing is ... I HAVE NO IDEA WHEN OR HOW HE GOT IN THE CAR. I was out there talking to Meredyth some last night (I had to charge my phone while we were talking because I currently can't find my wall charger) but I have no memory of a cat sneaking in.

Anyways... thought you would enjoy this story! We laughed about it while working out and laughed about to our friends Jason, Frederick and Nate at lunch. We also laughed about the time I got on the wrong moving walkway but that's another story for another time!!! Have a great Monday!
