New beginnings on Mother's Day!

It has been such an amazing weekend :) We just finished moving YiaYia in to her new home at Ashley Parks and I am sooooo thankful to the Lord. It hasn't been an easy transition but He has done so much to provide a beautiful place for her that she can afford! He also allowed me to stay home an extra day so I could help her move in and be here during her first night in Charleston (she's at our house). What a blessing.

Also, there have been a few special animals we've been worried about these past 3 weeks. Mom has been keeping an eye on the ducks in the backyard. The poor mother has been sitting on her eggs for around 6 weeks. We were sure that there was something wrong with them and it broke our heart to see her sit on them day after day! WELL... on Mother's day... they were born! What a sweet day! And you should have seen the dad. He wouldn't let us get very close and was so protective :)

Also, today Abby and the girls found Percy's kittens! We were worried about them too. She gave birth to them over 3 weeks ago and we have SEARCHED AND SEARCHED for them. Today Abby saw a little black fur and found 2 little baby kittens! We're looking for more but the two little girls are being "people-ized" as Monika puts it :) We'll be looking for a good home for both of them :) Aren't they precious???

Oh and mom, dad and I got to go to the beach a little on Sunday after church. We drove over to Folly but it was just too crowded so we headed over to my favorite park overlooking the Bridges. What a special time together :)
