Who I am to You...

Hello everyone :) I'm so sorry that blogging has fallen by the way side this semester. I hope to get on here soon and talk about how INCREDIBLY faithful God has been during this season. It has been quite busy around here. Working 40 hours a week while still attending grad school full time is definitely time demanding! However, I have been encouraged daily in the Lord's grace and sovereignty. He has truly made a way. It has been a semester full of life and laughter, sweet weddings, sweet babies, great ministry and wonderful, unexpected time with friends. And somehow in there school work has gotten done and responsibilities have been met. I've struggled with obsessing over assignments and my planner, but no matter how far in advance I plan, I am always reminded that it is God alone who makes it all possible. He plans my days and my path. And I've been encouraged to "not be anxious for tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself." (Matthew 6:34) He's working in me and reminding me to see His grace for TODAY and His sufficiency in the past. He has always provided. He has always shown up. Even though graduation is approaching and life is happening fast, I trust where He's leading me. I'm starting to become convinced that I may not know WHERE that will be until we get there, but that's enough for me. He knows. To be honest, that is a truth I have to consistently remind myself of, but I am glad that it is true.

Ok... my point for getting on here... I just wanted to encourage my dear friends. I woke up this morning with Jason Gray's song, "Remind me who I am," on my mind. If you have a moment, please listen to the song/lyrics. It will encourage you.

I also have been meditating on Psalm 19 and feel it will encourage you as well. It was a wonderful reminder of the evidence of God and His work in our lives. His law is perfect, restoring the soul. His testimony is sure, making the wise simple. There were so many beautiful phrases/words ... right, rejoicing the heart, pure, enlightening, clean, enduring forever, true, righteous, desirable. I needed that this morning. I was challenged by Davids request as well ... Who can discern his errors? Declare me innocent from hidden faults. Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me!

And of course, the beautiful ending ... Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Thy sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.

Have a beautiful saturday. I hope that You see God today; in His creation, in His people, in the works of His hands and definitely in His word. Love you all.
